Harburg Sustainability Prize 2015

Applications are welcome until October 22, 2015.

For the third time, the Harburg Parliament (Bezirksversammlung Harburg) presents an award to honour individuals, NGOs, organizations, businesses and institutions who are acitvely involved in the  local Agenda 21 process. 

Eligible candidates engage in activities towards  an economically viable, green(er) and fair(er) way of life. In so doing, they help create an environmentally friendly and socially equitable present and future, and with it a chance for all of us to embrace a prosperous and fulfilled life. A Harburg-based panel of independent experts decide on the winner or winners and awards 2,000,00 EUR in total.

The Award Ceremony will take place at the local townhall Harburger Rathaus, Harburger Rathausplatz 1, 21073 Hamburg on November, 27th, 2015.

Co-operation partners are again the Local Agenda 21 group and Sustainability Network "HARBURG21" and - with regard to the ceremony - the Friewilligennetzwerk Harburg (Harburg Voluntees' Network).
