Local Climate and Sustainability Webportal
Since 2008, Harburg's citizens can access our constantly upgraded and updated local sustainability portal, ie this very platform. It is one of the many informal educational opportunities listed in the Hamburg Action Plan (HAP). Until now, the Germen UNESCO (DUK) has recognized our platform as Official Project of the Decade "Education for sustainable development 2005-2014" for the years 2009/2010 and 2011/2012.

Our website offers a variety of information around climate and sustainable development (background, further developments), the aspirations of HARBURG21 and the local Agenda 21 process and ways how to get involved, links to carbon calculators, a quiz section, downloadable newsletters, flyers and learning material, recommendations/reviews of literature and films addressing climate change and further issues of sustainability, useful links for further reading and a permanently updated events planner.
