Schools21 (Netzwerk Schulen21)

is a "network within a network" of and for educatiors and educationalists aiming to increase the number of sustainable schools and school projects as part of their school curricula. Such projects are generally designed to further the student's range of acting locally and thinking globally - in essence, mustering their innovative capabilities to contribute to the sustainable development of their direct environment as well as their regional, national and internation relations.

This group collaborates closely with the Hamburg Institute of Teacher Training and School Development (Landesinstitut fuer Lehrerfortbildung und Schulentwicklung LI Hamburg) and a number of local schools. One example of such fruitful collaboration is our "ESD guide". For more details click here.
